Intesa Sanpaolo Receives the “European Innovator of the Year” Award from Qorus

Qorus awarded Intesa Sanpaolo with the “European Innovator of the Year” prize during the Qorus Reinvention Awards held in Vienna last March 20th.

The victory was driven by “the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's relentless commitment to innovation throughout its organization, which has fueled the company's strong growth and impressive technological capabilities.”

Among the initiatives that contributed to this recognition is the “AI for Corporate Targeting Automation” project, developed by the IMI Corporate & Investment Banking Division. This initiative leverage artificial intelligence and in-depth analysis of both internal and external data with the goal to refine the commercial offering aimed at corporate clients, through algorithms designed to assess the attractiveness of business opportunities. This initiative enhances the work of the commercial structures of the Division, generating innovative commercial proposals through an advanced AI Engine.

Other projects that contributed to the recognition include Switcho, a service by Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile for utilities management, Ellis, an AI-based digital assistant for customer interactions, and isybank, Intesa Sanpaolo’s new digital bank.

Qorus is a global non-profit organization that has promoted international cooperation in the financial and insurance sector since 1971, with the goal of supporting sustainable development and contributing to global economic stability. Its awards are considered among the most important in the sector.
